Machhapuchhre World School Hosted ECD Leaders’ Meet 2025 at Hotel Vivanta

EDUCAST, Machhapuchchhre World School successfully organized the ECD Leaders’ Meet 2025 on Friday at Hotel Vivanta, Jhamsikhel, bringing together Early Childhood Development school leaders for a deeply insightful, professional, and collaborative engagement.

The event began at 4:00 PM with a warm welcome extended to distinguished guests and ECD school representatives. The program was conducted and coordinated by Outreach Manager Mr. Akash Yadav, who facilitated the flow of the sessions.

School Principal Mr. Hom Nath Acharya delivered the official welcome speech, highlighting the significance of early childhood education in shaping foundational learning, emotional development, and future learning outcomes. He further introduced the event’s educational objectives and called for continued collaboration among ECD institutions.

A major highlight of the program was the keynote address delivered by Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, PhD, Dean of Kathmandu University School of Education, on the theme “Envisioning ECD Education in Nepal”.
Dr. Luitel shed light on evolving ECD approaches, global learning standards, and the need for a contextualized Nepali model of early childhood education. His session provided leaders an opportunity to reflect on policy development, curriculum transformation, and inclusive learning practices.

Following the keynote, the program moved into an open networking session, enabling participants to exchange ideas, create institutional connections, and explore opportunities for collaborative initiatives to strengthen the ECD ecosystem in Nepal. A reception gathering followed, adding a pleasant conclusion to the event.

In the closing session, School CEO Dr. Binod Yadav delivered concluding remarks. He expressed appreciation to all attendees, thanking the keynote speaker and educational leaders for their presence and commitment.
