SMS Education Services Hosted Multi Destination Education Fair 2025 in Kathmandu

    EDUCAST, SMS Education Services successfully organized the Multi Destination Education Fair 2025 on December 14, 2025, at SMS House, Koteshwor (Opposite Bhatbhateni). Held from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the fair brought together leading international education institutions and academic partners under one roof, offering Nepalese students a valuable platform to explore, discover, and decide on their global education journey.

    The event was organized in association with King’s Own Institute (KOI), Australia, and featured study destinations including Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Finland, Denmark, UAE, and India. Hundreds of students and parents attended the fair, seeking direct guidance from official university and college representatives.

    Welcome Address

    The program formally began with a welcome address by Mr. T. N. Shah, Chairman of SMS Education Services, who warmly welcomed all distinguished representatives, academic partners, students, and parents. He emphasized SMS Education’s commitment to ethical counselling, transparency, and helping students choose the right academic pathways aligned with their career goals.

    International Representatives & Academic Insights

    Jay Kiran Seelam Reddy, Marketing Manager at Skills Select College, Australia, introduced students to vocational and skill-based education opportunities in Australia. He elaborated on industry-aligned diploma programs, campus locations, post-study work prospects, and basic entry requirements, highlighting Skills Select College’s focus on employability.

    Pankaj Chaudhary, Senior Business Development Manager at Global Study Partners (upGrad GSP), spoke about globally recognized university pathways and blended learning models. He explained admission processes, academic progression routes, and how international students can transition smoothly into degree programs through structured partnerships.

    Representing Pearson, Suman Krishna Shrestha, Regional Development Manager for Nepal and Bhutan, highlighted Pearson’s globally trusted academic qualifications, foundation programs, and English language assessments. He explained how Pearson-supported pathways help students meet academic and language requirements for top universities worldwide.

    Bibash Rimal, Official Representative of BPP University, shared insights into professional programs in law, business, health, and finance in the UK. He discussed course structures, campus locations, entry criteria, and career outcomes, particularly for students aiming for professional qualifications.

    Pankaj Shah, Admissions Officer at Australasian International Academy Pty Ltd, introduced students to Australian vocational education and training (VET) programs. He explained course durations, entry requirements, and opportunities for skill-based education aligned with Australia’s workforce needs.

    Ramesh Pandey, Country Coordinator of Australian Technical College, Perth, WA, highlighted technical and trade-focused programs designed for international students. He explained admission requirements, campus facilities in Perth, and pathways to further education and employment.

    Khem Timilsina, Representative of NAPS, spoke about academic support services and student-focused programs designed to enhance learning outcomes and transition experiences for international students.

    Representing King’s Own Institute (KOI), Manish Kumar Shah elaborated on KOI’s business, IT, and accounting programs offered in Australia. He explained KOI’s campus environment, academic standards, scholarship opportunities, and basic eligibility criteria. KOI was also prominently represented through SMS Education’s Australia Director, further strengthening the collaboration showcased at the fair.

    Anup Sharma, a Canada-focused Career Counsellor, provided detailed guidance on Canadian study pathways, including colleges and universities, admission requirements, visa processes, and post-study work opportunities, addressing common concerns of Nepalese students aspiring to study in Canada.

    Mr. Bhupendra Ghatane, Sales and Marketing Manager at Skyline International College, shared information about hospitality and business programs, explaining course structures, practical training components, and entry requirements tailored for international students.

    Pranaye Lamichhane, Representative of Kona Cakes Institute of Hospitality, introduced specialized culinary and hospitality programs. He highlighted hands-on training, industry exposure, and academic pathways for students interested in hospitality careers.
