FECON Completed Nomination and Oath-Taking of Advisors, Vice President, and Members

EDUCAST, As per the statute of the Free Educational Consultancies’ Organization Nepal (FECON), the Executive Committee has successfully conducted the nomination and oath-taking ceremony for the Advisory Committee, one vacant Vice President position, and two vacant Member positions at the FECON office.

Under the Advisory Committee, three distinguished individuals were nominated: Prof. Dr. Khembandu Koirala (Former Dean, Tribhuvan University and Former Campus Chief of Mahendra Ratna Campus, Tahachal), Mr. Mahesh Dahal (Former Ambassador of Nepal to Australia), and Mr. Narayan Mainali (Former Consul General of Nepal in New York, USA).

In accordance with the statute, Mr. Mahesh Ghimire, Director of School Abroad Pvt. Ltd., was nominated to the vacant Vice President position. Due to his professional commitments in Australia, he was unable to attend the ceremony.

Similarly, Mr. Darshan Khanal, Director of Global Hub Educational Network, and Mr. Shiva Prasad Chaulagain, Director of Expert Multipurpose Education Consultancy, were nominated to the two vacant Member positions. The nominated office bearers completed their oath-taking at the FECON office.

Officials of FECON expressed confidence that the experience, expertise, and leadership of the newly nominated advisors and members will play a vital role in strengthening the organization’s governance, policy advocacy, and professional standards.

The Free Educational Consultancies’ Organization Nepal (FECON) is a national umbrella organization representing education consultancies across Nepal. It works to promote ethical practices, transparency, professionalism, and student protection while supporting policy dialogue and collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the international education sector.
