KBA Global Cricket Clash 2026 Press Meet Concludes in Kathmandu; Tournament Action Set to Begin

    EDUCAST, The official Media Day and Press Meet of the Golden Gate International College–KBA Global Cricket Clash 2026, organized by KBA Global Pvt. Ltd., was successfully held today at Aryal Hotel, Kathmandu. With the press meet concluded, organizers confirmed that all preparations are complete and the tournament is now officially moving toward the match phase.

    During the press meet, organizers unveiled the tournament’s objectives, format, rules, match schedule, and participating teams. The main matches will take place on 24 and 25 February 2026 at One Day Cricket Academy. The inter-college tournament will feature 12 teams, including Liverpool College, CCRC, Pentagon College, NASA College, Golden Gate International College, Reliance College, Grammar College, Himalayan College, Manaslu College, Pinnacle College, Bridge Water College, and Chanakya College.

    Addressing the gathering, Binod Dahal Upadhya, Business Development Manager of KBA Global, stated that the tournament serves as a shared platform for youth to develop sportsmanship, leadership, and discipline.

    Rohit Paudel, Director of Golden Gate International College (Title Sponsor), emphasized that collaboration between education and sports plays a vital role in students’ holistic personality development.

    Similarly, Bijay Babu Regmi, Chief Skill Development Officer of Techspire College (Powered-by Sponsor), highlighted the importance of sports in skill enhancement, leadership building, and fostering a competitive mindset among youth.

    The press meet witnessed the notable presence of representatives from key partner organizations. Banking Partner Kumari Bank Ltd. was represented by Samjhana Rana. Media Partners Jupiter Media (represented by Sunil Acharya) and Himalayan Television (represented by Shambhu Guragain) were also present.

    Representatives from Digital Partner Cheire Digital, Travel Partner Aarya Travel, Fitness Partner Fit & Spectrum, and Khaja Partner Hardik Hotel & Restaurant also attended, reflecting strong institutional support for the tournament.

    A major highlight of the event was the official trophy unveiling, symbolizing sportsmanship, unity, and excellence. The program concluded with an open media interaction and Q&A session.

    With the successful conclusion of the press meet, attention now turns to the highly anticipated matches on 24 and 25 February at One Day Cricket Academy, where inter-college teams will compete for the championship title.
