Emotional and Vibrant Farewell Ceremony Marks Graduation at V.S. Niketan

EDUCAST, V.S. (Vinayak Sudha) Niketan Secondary School recently a grand farewell ceremony at Nepal Academy Hall Kamaladi, Kathmandu to honor the graduating Batch of 2082 from the Science and Management faculties. The event marked a significant milestone for Grade XII students, celebrating the completion of their higher secondary journey while highlighting the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent and cultural diversity.

The program was formally inaugurated by Chairperson Urmila Pokhrel, who performed the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp—symbolizing the transition from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. This meaningful gesture set a dignified and hopeful tone for the event.

During the formal session, several key figures from the school leadership addressed the gathering. College Manager Ms. Bijaya Pradhan delivered the welcome remarks, while Founder Director Dr. Babin Pokharel offered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to carry forward the values of discipline, dedication, and academic excellence into their future pursuits, both in Nepal and abroad. Representing the student body, Sarang Shrestha from the Science faculty extended a heartfelt welcome message.

The event then transitioned into a vibrant cultural segment, where students showcased Nepal’s rich heritage through traditional Maithili and Magar dances. Musical performances by student groups added energy and excitement, while a touching farewell speech by Lenisha Shah from the Science faculty brought an emotional close to the celebration.

The program, which lasted over two hours, was smoothly coordinated by student anchors and faculty members. As the ceremony concluded, it left the graduating students with cherished memories of their time at V.S. Niketan, reaffirming the school’s reputation as a leading institution for holistic Science and Management education in Kathmandu.
