Upcoming Film “Manbinako Dhan Thuloi Ki Dhanbinako Man” to Spotlight Ashok Darji’s Musical Journey and Message of Racial Tolerance

EDUCAST, In a recent development in the Nepali film industry, a new project titled “Manbinako Dhan Thuloi Ki Dhanbinako Man” has been officially registered with the Film Development Board. This film, based on the remarkable life of child singer Ashok Darji, promises to be a poignant portrayal of his musical career and the message of racial tolerance.

The script for “Manbinako Dhan Thuloi Ki Dhanbinako Man” has been penned by screenwriter Shivam Adhikari, and it has been submitted to producers Tanka Budhathoki and Vinaya Adhikari. While Tanka Budhathoki’s name has been registered as the director with the board, the final decision regarding the directorial role is yet to be confirmed.

Shivam Adhikari sheds light on the narrative direction of the film, emphasizing Tanka’s pivotal role in nurturing Ashok’s musical talent and the overarching theme of racial harmony. The storyline delves into the unconventional familial bond between Tanka’s household and Ashok, transcending societal barriers of caste and ethnicity.

“Although these two are from different castes, they are living in the same family with the same feelings. But our society does not accept that. It will be the story of how Tanka’s family accepts it with humane feelings,” explained Shivam Adhikari.

Notably, Ashok Darji himself will be part of the cast, adding an authentic touch to the cinematic portrayal of his own journey. The commencement of shooting awaits the finalization of the lead roles.

The title of the film, “Manbinako Dhan Thuloi Ki Dhanbinako Man,” draws inspiration from a popular song released five years ago, featuring both Ashok and Tanka. The thematic essence of the film aligns with the spirit of this song, promising a compelling narrative that resonates with audiences.

“Manbinako Dhan Thuloi Ki Dhanbinako Man” is poised to be a significant addition to the Nepali film landscape, blending elements of musical inspiration and societal commentary.
