EDUCAST, Canada’s leading public post-secondary institution, Georgian College, successfully organized a special Education Information Session and Interactive Roundtable at Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, targeting major education consultancies from Nepal.
The program was graced by the special presence of Kevin Weaver, President and Chief Executive Officer of Georgian College. During the roundtable discussion, he shared his perspectives on the current landscape of Canadian higher education, industry-connected learning, student-success–focused programs, and the strategic importance of international partnerships.
Throughout the information session, participating consultancies received first-hand insights into Georgian College’s academic programs, collaboration opportunities, admission processes, student support services, and career pathways available for Nepali students. The interactive discussion allowed participants to raise their queries, which were addressed directly by President Kevin Weaver.
The event was further strengthened by the presence of Rohan Rawat, Senior Regional Advisor – South Asia at Georgian College. He provided detailed information on academic offerings, student services, industry-connected learning, and opportunities available for students from Nepal.
Participants noted that the program helped reinforce trust, transparency, and long-term collaboration between Georgian College and Nepal’s education consultancy community. Such high-level engagements are expected to play a vital role in ensuring accurate information flow and supporting Nepali students in pursuing quality, practical, and career-oriented education in Canada.
The program concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthen cooperation, facilitate student mobility, and explore future joint initiatives.
