Machhapuchchhre IB World School Hosts “Art Gala 2026”

    EDUCAST,  Machhapuchchhre IB World School, an ‘A’ Grade with Distinction Category school and a recognized Primary Years Programme institution, successfully hosted its annual Art Gala 2026 under the theme “Little Hands, Big Imagination – My Happy World” on Sunday, 8th February 2026 at the school premises in Kusunti, Lalitpur Metropolitan-13.

    The event was graced by Manish Lal Shrestha, a renowned Nepali multidisciplinary visual artist, curator, and founder of Gallery Mcube, as the chief guest. A graduate of Sir JJ School of Fine Art (2001), Shrestha is celebrated for his pioneering contributions to contemporary Nepali art, blending traditional motifs like bells and pyramids with modern, conceptual, and experimental forms. During the gala, he observed the students’ artworks, interacted with young artists, and shared his remarks appreciating their creativity and imagination, encouraging them to continue exploring art with passion.

    Also speaking at the event was Raju Shakya, Art Teacher at Machhapuchchhre School, who emphasized the importance of nurturing creativity from a young age and praised the school for providing a platform where students can express themselves through art.

    The gala showcased a vibrant collection of artworks created by the school’s young learners, highlighting their imagination, originality, and unique perspectives on “My Happy World.” The event attracted parents, teachers, and art enthusiasts who were impressed by the students’ talent and the school’s commitment to fostering creativity alongside academics.
