NAAER Higher Education Meet-Up 2026 Held in Kathmandu

EDUCAST, The NAAER Higher Education Meet-Up 2026 was successfully held in Kathmandu, bringing together education experts, institutional representatives, and consultancy professionals to discuss global academic opportunities and collaboration in the higher education sector.

General Secretary B-raj Pandey, in his welcome remarks, emphasized the need to strengthen the quality of higher education in Nepal and expand international academic networks. Vice President Tharendra Adhikari highlighted the importance of professionalism, transparency, and student-centered services within the education consultancy sector.

Anup Shrestha from the University of Adelaide shared that the university continues to provide a strong academic and research-focused learning environment for international students. Vijay Kumar Thakur of the Sydney International School of Technology & Commerce stated that his institution prioritizes practical education and enhancing graduate employability.

Similarly, Mukesh Dhamala from NAPS Institute noted that the college aims to deliver quality education at affordable costs. Ms. Sujina Ranjit, Regional Manager for Nepal and Bhutan at Southern Cross University (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney campuses), mentioned that the university offers flexible study options along with strong student support services for international learners. Other university and college representatives also shared their views in line with the event’s theme.

The program featured an interactive round-table discussion and Q&A session focusing on study destinations, visa procedures, financial planning, and post-study work opportunities for Nepali students.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from President Udhav Khadka. Organizers stated that such initiatives play a vital role in guiding students with accurate information and strengthening Nepal’s higher education ecosystem.
