EDUCAST, Professional Education Consultancy (PEC) successfully organized a Pre-Departure Session for students preparing to pursue higher education abroad. The program aimed to equip students with essential information and practical guidance before their departure.
The session was delivered by Mr. Raju Singh, Director of Programs at PEC, and Mr. Bikesh Shahi, Team Leader, who jointly addressed the participants.
During the session, students were briefed on important topics including travel preparation, visa compliance, academic expectations, cultural adaptation, accommodation arrangements, health insurance, part-time work regulations, and personal safety abroad.
Mr. Raju Singh emphasized the importance of mental readiness and responsible behavior while representing Nepal in international academic environments. He encouraged students to remain focused on their academic goals while maintaining discipline and professionalism.
Similarly, Mr. Bikesh Shahi highlighted practical challenges students may face during the initial weeks abroad and provided guidance on managing finances, communication with institutions, and seeking support services when required.
Participants actively engaged in the interactive discussion, raising queries related to airport procedures, immigration clearance, university reporting requirements, and student life management.
According to PEC, such pre-departure sessions are part of the consultancy’s commitment to ensuring students are well-prepared, confident, and informed before beginning their international education journey.
