EDUCAST, The University of East London (UEL) successfully organized its Partners Meet event at Aranya Boutique Hotel, Kathmandu, bringing together leading education consultants, university delegates, and policy influencers for a high-level dialogue on the future of international student mobility—particularly in the context of the recently released UK White Paper.

The event was made possible through the vital coordination and leadership of SPiE Overseas Nepal, one of the most trusted and prominent education consultancies in Nepal specializing in UK-bound student counseling. The presence and contribution of Mr. Suvansu Uperaty, Principal Advisor of SPiE Overseas Nepal, was central to the success of the program. His experience, deep understanding of UK education policy, and long-standing relationships with UK institutions helped shape the discussion into a productive and insightful exchange.

The event featured key delegates from UEL including Pavel Bawa, Deputy Head of International Recruitment (South Asia), Stefanie Walton, Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, and Asim Ghimire, Student Recruitment Advisor for Nepal. Their presentations and responses to queries were instrumental in clarifying UK’s changing policy landscape and how institutions and consultancies can work collaboratively to adapt.

The discussions primarily revolved around the implications of the UK’s policy changes on student migration patterns, focusing on the perceived challenges of long-term settlement and its impact on the interest of Nepali students. The dialogue addressed how education consultants in Nepal can better manage student expectations, provide clear and ethical guidance, and maintain confidence in UK as a premium education destination.

SPiE Overseas Nepal played a critical role in curating the participant pool, inviting seasoned professionals and active UK-focused education consultants to ensure a quality and meaningful conversation. The firm also coordinated seamlessly with UEL’s team, providing local insight and context to help bridge communication and cultural nuances.

The open floor session allowed for an exchange of actionable ideas and shared experiences, helping to foster a deeper understanding of the evolving international education framework. Participants discussed building stronger institutional relationships and ensuring accurate and student-first advisory practices.

The program concluded with closing remarks, where key takeaways were summarized, and plans for continued collaboration were proposed. It was unanimously agreed that such platforms are essential in supporting Nepalese students with quality, ethical pathways to UK education.

SPiE Overseas Nepal, in its closing note, extended sincere gratitude to the distinguished delegates from UEL and all participating partners for making the event a grand success. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to championing ethical counseling, meaningful partnerships, and sustained support for students aspiring to study in the United Kingdom.

This event marked another milestone in SPiE Overseas Nepal’s leadership in the UK education consultancy space and reinforced its reputation as a bridge between global institutions and Nepal’s aspiring students.
