Embassy of Pakistan Observes Marka-e-Haq Day in Kathmandu

    EDUCAST, The Embassy of Pakistan observed Marka-e-Haq Day on Saturday with solemnity and national pride at the Embassy premises in Kathmandu. Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Abrar H Hashmi, hoisted the national flag during a dignified ceremony attended by Embassy officials, members of the Pakistani community, their families, and friends of Pakistan.

    On the occasion, messages from Pakistan’s leadership were read out.

    In his message, Asif Ali Zardari stated that Marka-e-Haq demonstrated to the world that Pakistan’s deterrence is based on professional competence, tri-service coordination, and the unwavering resolve of its people. He paid tribute to the armed forces and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif described Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq as a day of gratitude and remembrance, highlighting the courage of Pakistan’s armed forces and the nation’s unity in defending the homeland across land, sea, air, and cyber domains.

    Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar said that lasting peace in South Asia requires addressing core regional issues, including the resolution of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of its people. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, dialogue, and diplomacy.

    Speaking at the event, Ambassador Abrar H Hashmi paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and praised the unity and determination of the Pakistani people in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said Marka-e-Haq symbolizes Pakistan’s resolve, national unity, and steadfast commitment to defending its sovereignty.
