EDUCAST, Hult Prize Nepal is all set to host the much-anticipated Hult Prize National 2026, one of Nepal’s largest student entrepreneurship competitions, on Saturday, May 9, 2026 (Baisakh 26, 2083 B.S.). The national event is presented by the British Council Nepal and hosted by UBA Solutions Pvt. Ltd., with Jupiter Media serving as the official media partner for the prestigious competition.

The competition will be conducted in two phases on the same day. The Preliminary Round will take place at Embark College, Kupondole, where participating teams will present their innovative business concepts before a panel of judges. Selected finalists will then move on to the Grand Finale at St. Xavier’s School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.

The national event is being coordinated under the leadership of Riyaj Nepal, National Coordinator of Hult Prize Nepal, alongside Saisha Shrestha, National Community Coordinator.

This year’s competition is expected to witness participation from more than 160 student entrepreneurs representing over 40 colleges across Nepal. These teams have secured their place in the national round after successfully advancing through On-Campus Programs and open application rounds conducted nationwide.

Participants will pitch innovative social enterprise ideas aligned with this year’s theme, “Unlimited,” focusing on scalable solutions connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The competition aims to encourage young innovators to develop impactful ventures addressing global and local challenges through entrepreneurship.

The winning team of Hult Prize Nepal National 2026 will advance to the Hult Prize Digital Incubator, continuing on the global competition pathway that includes the Global Accelerator and ultimately the Global Finals in London.

Last year, Team Vayudrishti, led by Shrisha Panday from Saraswati Multiple Campus, claimed the national title with an AI-powered air quality monitoring and purification system, setting a strong benchmark for this year’s aspiring entrepreneurs.

Recognized globally as one of the world’s largest student entrepreneurship competitions, Hult Prize offers USD 1 million in seed funding to the global winning team, empowering young innovators to transform their ideas into sustainable businesses.
