University of Lancashire Representatives Engage with Students and Alumni at Bizz Education’s Meet & Greet and Panel Discussion on the Impact of British Education in Nepal

    EDUCAST, Bizz Education successfully organized an exclusive Meet & Greet Session with representatives from the University of Lancashire, United Kingdom, bringing together prospective students, alumni, education partners, and stakeholders for an informative and engaging exchange on international education opportunities.

    The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Hari Karki, Director of Bizz Education, who highlighted the organization’s commitment to guiding Nepali students toward quality global education pathways. The formal inauguration was followed by the traditional presentation of Khada and garlands to the distinguished guests as a mark of respect and appreciation.

    A special video presentation showcasing the experiences and success stories of Nepali students studying at the University of Lancashire was screened during the program. The video offered valuable insights into student life, academic opportunities, campus experiences, and career prospects available to international students.

    Participants then had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Matthew Virr, Director of International Recruitment at the University of Lancashire, who delivered a comprehensive presentation on the university’s academic programs, student support services, research opportunities, and graduate employability outcomes.

    One of the major highlights of the event was the insightful panel discussion titled “The Impact of British Education on Nepali Businesses and Communities.” The discussion featured Mr. Matthew Virr alongside distinguished alumni of the University of Lancashire, who shared their educational journeys, professional experiences, and perspectives on how British higher education has influenced their careers and contributions to Nepal.

    The panel included:

    • Mr. Rajul Shrestha, CEO of ARKSH Group, who completed his Master’s degree with distinction in the United Kingdom and returned to Nepal to continue the 40-year business legacy established by his father, Dr. Rajesh Kazi Shrestha.
    • Ms. Anuradha Sharma, a graduate in Intercultural Business Communications, children’s story writer, and advocate dedicated to addressing psychological trauma among children in Nepal.
    • Ms. Reshma Bhandari, a successful University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) graduate whose international education journey was facilitated by Bizz Education.

    The discussion was expertly moderated by Dr. Sareesha Shrestha, who guided an engaging conversation on academic growth, cross-cultural learning, career development, entrepreneurship, and the broader impact of international education on Nepal’s business sector and communities.

    The event also featured an interactive Question-and-Answer session, allowing students and parents to directly engage with university representatives. Participants received valuable guidance from Mr. Matthew Virr and Mr. Karan Shokeen, Principal Advisor for South Asia at the University of Lancashire, regarding study opportunities, admissions processes, scholarships, and career pathways.

    As a gesture of appreciation, Bizz Education presented tokens of love and gratitude to its valued partner agencies and collaborators for their continued support and contributions toward promoting international education opportunities for Nepali students.

    The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Hari Karki, who expressed sincere gratitude to the university representatives, alumni speakers, partner institutions, students, parents, and attendees for making the event a grand success.
