Students of Machhapuchchhre IB World School Successfully Stage Nepali Play “Dantko Dob” in Kathmandu

EDUCAST, Students of Machhapuchchhre IB World School successfully staged the Nepali play “Dantko Dob” at the Kantipur Film Academy in Gauridhara, Kathmandu, presenting a meaningful theatrical performance that highlighted creativity, teamwork, and artistic expression among young learners.

The production featured the participation of around 40 student performers from different grade levels, who brought the story to life through expressive acting and engaging stage presence. The performance offered audiences an emotional and thought-provoking theatrical experience.

The play “Dantko Dob” is written by renowned Nepali playwright Khagendra Lamichhane and was directed by theatre director Bibek Neupane. According to the organizers, the drama artistically presents sensitive social themes while exploring the complexities of human emotions, pain, and relationships.

Through their performances, the students demonstrated remarkable confidence, creativity, and artistic ability. Parents and guests who attended the event appreciated the students’ dedication and expressed that participation in drama and cultural activities plays an important role in students’ overall personality development.
