EDUCAST, The University of the West of England Bristol (UWE Bristol) successfully organized an Agents Conference and networking event in Kathmandu, bringing together leading education consultants and partners from across Nepal. The event aimed to strengthen academic collaboration, share institutional updates, and enhance engagement with Nepal’s international education sector.

The program featured distinguished representatives from the university, including Mr. Kevin Dunn, Head of Recruitment at UWE Bristol, who travelled from the United Kingdom to engage directly with Nepalese partners. He was joined by Mr. Devesh Chandela, Senior Manager – Recruitment & Partnership (India, Nepal & Sri Lanka), who shared insights into the university’s recruitment strategies, partnership opportunities, and the growing engagement with South Asian markets.

The session was coordinated by Ms. Isha Bhumi Shrestha, Country Manager for Nepal and Bhutan representing UWE Bristol. She highlighted the increasing interest among Nepalese students in UK higher education and emphasized the university’s commitment to providing strong academic support, career-focused programs, and global opportunities for international students.

The conference was conducted in a high-tech and AI-driven presentation format, making the session highly interactive, engaging, and informative for attending consultants. Participants were introduced to the latest strategic developments at UWE Bristol, including new academic programs, student support services, and opportunities for future collaboration.

Adding a creative dimension to the event, different informative quizzes and interactive games were organized, allowing participants to test their knowledge about UWE Bristol and the UK education system. The activities were conducted in a lively and engaging manner, encouraging active participation from education consultants. Winners of the quizzes and games were recognized and awarded by the UWE Bristol team, making the session both educational and entertaining.

As a gesture of appreciation, the university also presented certificates of recognition to participating educational consultants, acknowledging their contribution to promoting international education opportunities and supporting students in pursuing higher studies abroad.

The formal session concluded with a networking gathering, where education partners and university representatives exchanged ideas and strengthened professional relationships. The event also marked the launch of the “Slice of Bristol” initiative, symbolically bringing the spirit and academic excellence of Bristol to Kathmandu.

Through such initiatives, UWE Bristol continues to expand its engagement in Nepal and strengthen partnerships with education consultants while opening more opportunities for Nepalese students aspiring to pursue higher education in the United Kingdom.
