V.S. Niketan Secondary School Holds Grand Graduation Ceremony and Farewell Program

Kathmandu — V.S. Niketan Secondary School, operated under the management of V.S. Niketan Shaikshik Pratisthan (SUDHA), successfully organized a grand Graduation Ceremony cum Farewell Program for Grade 10 students. School officials, teachers, students, and parents were present at the event.

The program began with the arrival of distinguished guests and a formal welcome ceremony. The event was officially inaugurated by the Chairperson of the institution, Urmila Pokhrel, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The inauguration was followed by the singing of the national anthem.

During the first phase of the program, inspiring speeches were delivered by students and school leaders. Head Girl Aarushi Sah expressed gratitude to the school for shaping students and preparing them for a new chapter in life. Similarly, Head Boy Bibhav Basnet shared memorable experiences from student life and pledged to uphold the reputation of the school in the future.

Speaking at the event, Academic Advisor A.K. Chaudhary emphasized that education is not merely about passing examinations but about guiding individuals toward the right direction in life. He encouraged students to face life’s challenges with discipline, dedication, and positive thinking.

School Principal Ranjit Kumar Pandit highlighted that the institution has consistently prioritized the holistic development of students. He stated that along with academic excellence, the school focuses on developing leadership skills, creativity, and a sense of social responsibility among students.

Chairperson Urmila Pokhrel also addressed the gathering, stating that the primary goal of the institution is not only to provide quality education but also to nurture responsible and capable citizens. She encouraged students to move forward in life with confidence and determination while wishing them success in their future endeavors.

Founder Director Dr. Babin Pokhrel delivered a motivational speech, emphasizing that education and character building go hand in hand. He urged students to embrace knowledge, discipline, ethics, and social responsibility as they move forward in their academic and professional journeys.

In the second phase of the program, the titles of “Ms. and Master SEE” were announced and outstanding students were honored, creating a moment of excitement and motivation among the students.

The third phase featured a variety of cultural performances by students. Several groups showcased their talents through dance and music. Performances included dance presentations by Kabya’s Group, Sandhya’s Group, Aarohi’s Group, Evasha’s Group, and Roshani’s Group. Musical performances were delivered by Caelestis Band and Nebula Group, while Manoj Dahal captivated the audience with a solo song.

The program was jointly anchored by Sneha Ray and Sambhav Khadka. At the conclusion of the event, Bandana Lama delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all teachers, staff members, students, and parents for their support in making the program successful.

According to the school, such programs help boost students’ confidence, provide a platform to showcase their talents, and strengthen the emotional bond between students and the school community.
