Consultants Information Session on Widener University Successfully Held in Kathmandu

EDUCAST, A special Consultants Information Session with representatives of Widener University was successfully held in Kathmandu, bringing together education consultants and academic representatives to learn more about study opportunities in the United States.

The session featured Anjali Chennapragada, who provided detailed insights into the university’s academic programs, admission procedures, scholarships, and student support services. The program created an important platform for Nepali education consultants to directly interact with the university representative and gain updated information about opportunities for Nepali students.

During the session, she highlighted key areas including the admissions process, scholarships of up to 90 percent, Teaching Assistant (TA) and Research Assistant (RA) opportunities, as well as on-campus employment options available for international students. She also discussed the variety of academic programs offered by Widener University and the potential career pathways available for graduates.

Participants were also informed about on-campus housing facilities, student life, and academic support services, which are designed to help international students successfully adapt to university life in the United States.

As part of her visit to Nepal, Anjali Chennapragada also appeared in a television talk show for Destination USA, a regular education-focused program produced by Jupiter Media Nepal and broadcast on News 24 TV. During the interview, she shared valuable insights about studying in the United States, international student opportunities at Widener University, scholarship possibilities, and the overall academic environment available for Nepali students in the US.

Speaking at the program, D. Raj Dhital thanked all participating consultants and the university representative for their presence and support. He expressed appreciation to the consultants for their active participation and emphasized that such information sessions help strengthen collaboration between international universities and Nepali education consultants.

He further noted that providing accurate and updated information about international education opportunities plays a vital role in helping students make informed decisions about their academic future.
